CONGRATULATIONS AND CELEBRATIONS

Today is a big day for many students including my young man's friends who got their A level results. A massive congratulations to all students who worked hard for their A levels and wishing you all a wonderful future.

It's my dream that one day my young man can be in a university studying his degree like his parents, uncles and aunties, also his cousins who achieved first class degree. In the Tang's family, we value educational achievement but most of all, supporting our children to achieve their potential.

Every little achievement he made is a massive step towards that goal, therefore I am so very proud that he passed "My relationships module" in the ASDAN examination for people with additional needs. An important module as this is all about developing good relationship with others and my young man is brilliant at this, despite having limited communication skills, as he is loves by all who has contact with him. An achievement not many people can accomplish. Notwithstanding, my young man had been shielding for the past two years due to being immune-compromised.

In here, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our local Inclusion unit for approving funding to enable my young man to stay in the Independent school for another year until he is about 20. This is virtually unheard of, as it's extremely hard to get funding to attend an independent school anyway. Good partnership working goes a long way and also my young man being so loveable really help to achieve this positive outcome.
