We had an absolutely fantastic afternoon visiting Plas Brodanw, former home of the famous architecture, the late Clough Williams - Ellis.
As soon as you enter the gardens, all your stress and worries just disappear instantly, leaving you with the feeling of joy and contentment. It's a beautiful sunny garden with plenty of ponds, statues, hydrangeas and topiary trees. Apples are not ready to pick so we will come back in September to pick a few, love an organic apple haha.
We also visited their sun filled home which has a beautiful vibe, yes l can sense that it used to be a very happy place. Very cleverly designed, as every room is filled with sun by Clough like his Italian village, Portmerion, my favourite place!!!
Highly recommend and it's absolutely free! We even went up their forest to pick some beautiful wild chrysanthemum and tiger lilies which are proudly displayed in my living room. Flowers everywhere
We love this place to chill out and it's only 5 mins away from us. Tomorrow it's Anglesey day hooray 👏👏👏
