Sorry

He started off with severe tonsillitis which almost led to sepsis but just got the second dose of antibiotics in time. All thanks to the wonderful doctor at our local urgent treatment centre. Then a mystery illness which gave him high temperature and diahorrea. Therefore he was exhausted by these, barely able to lift his head at times. Paracetamol and Ibuprofen didn't help much either but none the less, he is having these every 4 - 6 hours to stop the temperature from going higher.

Also another sad news is that my mother in law died a few weeks ago and my husband had to rush back to Italy. Therefore I had to deal with everything on my own. Very exhausting!!

A miracle occurred this Wednesday evening, as no more temperature and my young man started to recover. He actually told me over 100 times that he is feeling better, as he himself knew how sick he was, so sick that he wanted to tell the world that he is feeling better now. He also wanted to sleep in his own bedroom now that he is recovering. He has been sleeping with me so that I can looked after him and give him medicine throughout the night to bring down his temperature. No sleep for me obviously.

Today, he is smiling and giggling like his usual self despite still feeling tired, weak and looking pale.

Thank God that he pulled through a very challenging period and back to his usual cheerful cheeky self.

Soon I will be able to re-commence the injection for his arthritis as I guess he is in a lot of pain in his joints. He never complains about anything I had to stop this so that he can fight off these infections because the injection reduce his immunity against infections.

Hopefully, he is strong enough to attend the Beyond Van Goh show on Monday as I already booked tickets to take him there.

My young man is sure once in a life time kind of guy, so unique that his consultants say he has "Alessio syndrome" as only he has it and no one else!
