Good evening everyone, sorry for being so quiet as I am recovering from the cataract operation this week at home.
The operation was a success by my consultant and the very next day I can actually see clearly in a distance from the operated eye. This is because I am only having the short-sightedness lens for my right eye replaced, the worst one. Therefore I am trying to adjust looking at a distance with one bad eye and one good eye, it's taking time but I hope in time it will get better, as the next operation for the left eye will be in about 6 weeks' time like mid-April.
Also I am struggling with reading as I am very far-sighted too, basically I am virtually blind without my glasses. I still have to wear my varifocal (far and short-sighted) glasses and they are making me a little sick. However today, the time I am able to wear my varifocal glasses to read is getting longer, so a good sign.
It has been a challenging time for me as I have to rely on Alessio a lot because I CANT' BEND OR LIFT HEAVY THINGS for two weeks to prevent the new lens from dislodging. Also he has been taking me up and down the stairs due to the double vision. He has been helping me to prepare orders by fetching me boxes, products and carry heavy boxes for posting. On the first night, he helped me to bed, kissed me, switched off the light and closed the door behind him. My beautiful and caring angel!
An improvement today, I can go anywhere myself around the house and started to cook too, so Alessio is very happy with it.
Please bear with me due to my impaired eyesight (reading with one eye only), as I could make mistakes, thank you for your understanding, much appreciate it.
