A few days ago, Wednesday 25th February, l was involved in research on hygiene insecurity & poverty with Liverpool John Moores University and Kitty's Launderette.

My role was to teach soap making in order to encourage participants to talk about hygiene poverty and it did work. Participants were very happy with their creations so were happy to talk about their inner feelings. Therefore the researchers got lots of qualitative information.

There were two workshops of 10 participants each and unfortunately l was so busy that l didn't take many photos.
.
The next step is to create key words from the workshops and put them into the soaps which l will be teaching on 13-3-26. More importantly the researchers are keen at getting funding for me to teach people on how to set up a soap making business in order to help them out of poverty woohoo!
