I feel very privileged to be invited as one of the inspirational speakers at the Lancashire federation of women's institute annual conference at the Lowther Pavilion Theatre at Lytham St. Annes today.

A very well attended event with 450 ladies and this federation has 6000 membership including the one l attended. Speaking in front of such a large audience is a little daunting, especially when l have the use of one eye only to read my script. However my talk went very well and applause erupted when l finished!!!
