I want to take a moment to speak openly about something I know is very sensitive.
My business journey with YNNY began with a simple, personal goal - to help my son Alessio. Over time, I’ve seen how my handmade products can genuinely make a difference, and my mission is to reach as many people as possible, especially those people who are undergoing or underwent chemotherapy.
Recently, my article was published in The Sun and The Sun Scotland after first published by the Daily Mail. I want to be clear that I am not asking anyone to support the publication, especially given the very real and lasting pain caused by its coverage of the Hillsborough tragedy. I fully understand and respect those feelings deeply.
From a PR perspective, exposure like this helps small businesses like mine reach a broader audience and also to be able to survive in this very challenging economy downturn. This is important for continuing to provide quality products and service. However, I want to emphasise that my intention is to promote my business and its benefits - not the newspaper itself.
I am incredibly grateful to my Liverpool customers and community, who have been the heart of my business from the start. I hope you can continue to support me as I work toward my goals and intentions, which remain rooted in care, honesty and making a positive difference.
