I am one of the luckiest mums in the world, as I have a beautiful caring soul whom I proudly called my son! Alessio has been looking after me for the past two weeks after my eye surgery assisting me with many things as I am not allowed to bend down or lift anything heavy. One does not know the difficulties of not being able to do the simplest things that we take for granted until you can't do them!
Simple things such as picking from the floor and putting the 10kg rice bag on the table to enable me to get some rice for cooking, fetching my nebuliser and put it on my bed and plug it in so that I can use it daily to ease my lung condition, fetching boxes and products at lower level so that I can prepared the orders to be sent out and taking me & down the stairs at early stage of my recovery. He is just wonderful, he comes to help no matter what he is doing with a smile on his face straightaway! I can't image life without his assistance in the past two weeks and so very pleased that I can start to do "normal things" tomorrow hooray!
For the past two weeks, Alessio has been reminding me not to forget to get some flowers for his god-parents for Mother's Day and his favourite mummy - me. Thank you my darling boy, love you to the moon and back.
