Eco Policy at YNNY

Since its inception, my company always strive to reduce, recycle and reuse all packaging coming into HQ. Currently we have been able to reuse over 95% of boxes, fillers and dividers etc. The reminder 5% can't be reuse because they are damaged during transit but we do recycle them, so 100%. Therefore please don't be surprise if you receive your order in a reused box!!!

We are also very committed in reducing our environmental footprint, so we have been using several local suppliers including the main packaging one which is only 12 minutes from our HQ!

In terms of staff, we all live within 10 minutes to HQ.

Two days ago, I discovered a local packaging accessories supplier who is only a few minutes away. Therefore I went to their warehouse wanting to buy some shrink wrap not knowing this is for online only, silly me! Despite this, two lovely guys gave me a demo and a free roll as I wasn't sure it was the right thing. The very next day, I had to return and gave them an organic soap each to thank them for their kindness. They were over the moon to receive them. KINDNESS DOESN'T COST A THING BUT IT MAKES A REAL DIFFERENCE TO SOMEONE'S LIFE, so we should all practice this by giving without expectation of any return.

I would like to this opportunity to urge every company big or small to reduce their environmental footprint and support local businesses to save the planet and build community.
