Yesterday whilst I was setting up my store at the Royal Liver Building, all I could hear was kerching, kerching, kerching ......................, basically orders were being placed on the website. 
I checked the website when I got a chance and discovered loads of orders and website traffic went mad, almost crushing it. Then I checked the orders were largely placed by new customers on two products mostly - Elixir and Soothing shea butter.
Very interesting indeed! Then a light bulb moment occurred, my story must have been published by the Daily Express, so I googled "Daily Express Georgina Tang" and straight away, the article about me popped up. Elixir and Soothing shea butter were mentioned and this must have prompted people to buy these products. Wow Wow Wow, absolutely amazing that strangers trusted me simply by reading my story!
Yesterday, the final total for website orders was the 2nd highest since I have my business but so far today, it has beaten yesterday, unbelievable.!
Due to the latest press coverage and together with the summer discount, this month will be the highest turnover for the website, double the amount than last month, breaking all records, woohoo!
I never knew the power of positive press coverage on businesses until now and am so very grateful that journalists have found my story interesting and inspiring!
A national magazine wanted to feature me in their Mother's day issue for 2026 but I hope more positive press coverage will be coming soon.
