Apple Picking
Posted on August 21 2025

Due to the hot weather we had so far this year, some of the organic apples are ready to be picked, very early as l normally pick them in September.
.
In fact, a little late as some trees have no apples left in The Meadow, especially the juicy red ones. They are full of flavours and very sweet. I guess it's the soils in Snowdonia national park, full of nutrients and minerals. These apples are even better than the organic apples from supermarkets by miles. Luckily we found plenty on The Orchard, full of red apples and again l climbed the hill to pick the little red ones - the best! A little risky but ok as l am used to climbing despite being 62!!!
.
We have been picking them for years in the holiday park and the apples provided us about 3 months of fruits.
.
So very grateful for these delicious apples as they saved our lives when we were struggling back in 2023 due to the 5 years legal battle against Kate Mclver Skin, as every penny went to my legal team - £360,000 no less . Therefore l struggled to put food on the table to feed my family for several months, obviously things are much better now but l still picked the apples as l don't believe in wasting quality food. Also l like to teach Alessio about food from trees to the table, even pick blackberries and raspberries whenever we can.
.
Now it's barbecue time 😋 😋 😋.
