Happy Birthday to My Love

After months of planning, Alessio's 21st birthday party was a massive success held in his favourite restaurant yesterday!!!
It was very challenging at times due to last minute changes, as no one from my side of the family could attend because they flew back to Hong Kong for my mother's funeral being held this Thursday. Alessio was sad about this, as he was so looking forward to seeing his favourite cousin Clarence again. My side of the family lives all over the UK and the other side of the family lives in Italy. Therefore it's not often that we see each other.
Irrespective of this, we all had a fantastic time. Stunning environment as the restaurant overlooking the River Mersey, world class banquet by award winning chef and fantastic company, all the ingredients of a fab party.
Alessio - the living medical miracle as l was told he would never live pass one year of age celebrated his 21st birthday!!! Unbelievable isn't it but it's the truth despite what the professionals said. I always believe in miracles and miracles do happen. Another amazing miracle is that l managed to cure his 5 different forms of incurable epilepsy!!!! Last but not least, l helped Alessio to achieve a reading age of 8 and same for Maths when his Educational psychologist said he would only function at 1.5 years old for life.
You will notice Alessio is wearing ear defenders because he's seriously hypersensitive to noise. My friend reminded me that l used to have to ask guests to sing happy birthday quietly and also he was petrified of crowds. Look at him now, so confident and loved the fact that everyone in the restaurant sang to him including people from another birthday party! 
The photo on the cake was Alessio when he was just 7 months old, the first official photo. He was a giant bonny baby, weighing 11.3kg, that was all and l was only 44.5kg!
I would like to add that this party and previous ones have been paid for by Alessio himself.
